Digital Content Manager
About the role
We put online first. With the consumer journey becoming ever more complex we need to make sure that we are present at every touch point, showcasing our brands and products in an engaging way. As an E-tail Content Specialist you will play a vital role in this strategy. Top of your list will be to make sure our brands and products appear on our retailers' digital channels and marketplaces in a way that not only increases sales but also enhances the digital consumer experience and follows the brand guidelines.You will be the go-to person for digital content. You will establish content plans, identify gaps, propose improvements and ensure we have the structure and tools in place to optimize our presence in these channels.
Analyze brand & product display
Map out and analyze how our brands and products are presented on our retailers' digital channels and marketplaces in close collaboration with our trade marketers globally
Identify gaps and set best practices for new product launches
Support with optimizing SEO, CRO and e-tailers digital marketing for go-to-market plans
Deep dive into the path to purchase report and follow the 2019 plan for improving the digital customer journey with input from the e-commerce team.
Drive content and digital experience improvements
Establish content plans to develop our retailers' presentation of our brands and products in digital channels to increase brand awareness and drive more sales
Be the link between our brand/PR and retail teams to make sure we have a good way of working when pushing and publishing press reviews.
Participate in finding ways to syndicate eCom reviews to retail.
Benchmark other brands, research best practice examples and reports and develop a content plan to inspire and drive creative new ways of working
Guide and inspire our trade marketers and sales team in content strategy, conversion and optimization performance to maximize launches and sales.
Manage requests from trade marketers
Be the link between the trade marketing team and the brand teams for scoping, requesting and producing retail toolkits for new launches and ensure the content is always updated.
Work in close collaboration with our trade marketing team and manage continuous requests.
Set up a structured way of managing, prioritizing and giving feedback on requests.
If needed, set ways of working with trade marketing agencies and other local/regional stakeholders.
Who we are looking for:
Experience with digital content marketing: 3-4 years experience at an agency or working as an inhouse digital content specialist at a retailer or e-tailer
Digital performance marketing experience:
Experience of working with digital performance marketing - SEO, CRO, display, social, affiliates and optimizing digital customer journeys on both web and mobile
You have experience from a consumer products industry selling through retail, e-tail and/or marketplaces
You have great interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with our retail partners as well as our own brand and trade marketing teams. You have a strong self-drive and can act on your own
