About the opportunity

Do you truly enjoy organising and managing the details? How about working with Marketing and Creative Teams? Bupa is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic DAM Librarian to join us on an initial 9 month contract supporting the marketing team. The Digital Asset manager will be responsible for overseeing the taxonomy, metadata and classification of digital assets (images, videos, etc.) within the marketing function to effectively manage the lifecycle,  from creation to use to archiving in the DAM.

Key responsibilities include :

Conduct the daily management of the DAM (DAM = Digital Asset Management Platform), including being the gatekeeper for any digital asset going into the DAM.
Maximise discovery of digital assets (images, video, etc.) by the application of metadata that follows established guidelines; to approved digital assets.
Manage lifecycle of digital assets from creation to use to expiry/ archive.
Maintain clean folder/ organised hierarchy structure in the DAM.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and evolve governance of approved taxonomy, metadata and classification of digital assets.
Collaborate in the development, maintenance and enhancement of digital workflows associated with the DAM to maximise operational efficiencies.
Conduct digital asset audits to ensure published digital assets are current and being appropriately used in-line with their usage rights.
Generate digital asset reports and maintain records to support better decisions on/ more effective use of digital assets.
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in the operational use of the DAM.

You will be/have:-

Demonstrated success working with Digital Asset Management Platform solutions and associated digital workflows in a complex enterprise creative and usage environment.
Proven success as a key member of a matrixed, cross-functional team; able to work equally well with people in business, creative, and technical positions.
Ability to take initiative, follow through, and deliver to deadlines.
Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Highly organised and results focused.
Excellent oral and written communicator, with great interpersonal skills; able to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team.
Solid technical background, experience managing technical projects.

University degree.
At least 2-3 years of digital asset management experience.
Ideally, experience in IntelligenceBank DAM.
