We work with some of the UK’s most interesting brands and we’re looking for a Digital Asset Librarian / Cybrarian to come and join us. Armbands optional.
The Part You’ll Play…
This is an exciting new role working for our Production business, Craft. As part of Craft Worldwide we deliver world class production services for a range of clients including some of the UK’s best loved Retail brands. With a 30,000 square foot studio in Poynton, in addition to video and motion facilities at our office in Prestbury we produce quality assets and content on a daily basis and are now looking for a Digital Asset Librarian / Cybrarian to support this.
As Digital Asset Librarian / Cybrarian you'll be responsible for quality checking and streamlining digital assets in the digital asset management system and into the studio workflows. This will include taking responsibility for the distribution and organization of assets through their entire life cycle.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring all incoming and outgoing assets in and out of the Digital Asset Management systems.
- Managing all meta-data tagging and details around the assets from a business perspective.
- Manage all Usage Rights for assets in the DAM that require them.
- Utilise reporting on the system and asset activity to further optimize asset usage and tagging.
- Identify opportunities to realise the full potential of the DAM system as a business advantage
- Previous experience working with an enterprise level digital asset management solution
- The ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues
- Excellent core computer skills
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Knowledge of Digital Asset Management and Meta-data systems
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to build relationships
