Responsibilities

The Associate, Digital Assets will be responsible for the setup, organization, accessibility of the company's global Acquia digital asset library. The Associate, Digital Assets will assist groups and individuals in the location, selection and use of assets. Additionally, this individual will solicit property, lifestyle, neighborhood, logos and stock images from all of the company's locations and business lines, and oversee the final selection, taxonomy, metadata and classification of all digital assets.

Responsible for gathering media from various locations and business lines following best practices for taxonomy and tagging, and automating the removal of expiring assets
Act as primary liaison between web, creative, media, and marketing groups to ensure assets are organized and archived as effectively and efficiently as possible
Upload, tag, and EOL assets within the Acquia DAM system according to business needs and taxonomy rules
Encourage the use of newly created content by communicating with stakeholders on a regular basis about changes and updates
Seek out, organize, manage and track digital assets for websites, wayfinding kiosks, marketing materials, media and other applications
Responsible for all metadata tagging to ensure easy finding by users with varying degrees of familiarity with digital asset management systems
Responsible for training others in the creation or preservation of digital resources and the use of the Acquia DAM system; troubleshoot asset access problems
Interact with IT, Creative Services and Corporate Affairs colleagues and marketing teams to implement and maintain the Acquia DAM's technical infrastructure and digital assets
Manage lifecycle of image assets after creation, including selects and ingestion within the DAM, ensuring accuracy of image expiration dates and usage rights
Generate image contact sheets, asset reports and maintain records for the system Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement to aid in the overall enrichment of the image lifecycle
Pull reports from the tool and analyze data to provide an overview to leadership on content usage trends and behaviors and then recommend solutions accordingly
Maintain accurate procedures and records for the system

Qualifications

Expertise with Acquia DAM
Bachelor's degree 3+ years of experience managing image-based digital asset management systems including metadata management
Experience with setting up and maintaining enterprise-scale DAMs
Experience with descriptive metadata standards, taxonomy and archival arrangement
Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
Knowledge of video, image, and digital formats is essential
Extremely organized with relentless attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Cataloging or metadata management experience preferred
Able to effectively collaborate in a global, cross functional team environment
Able to use logic to determine the correct action to take
Able to learn quickly and balance priorities in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently and manage own workload
